Aquetzali (Kiki) Serna is a Mexican visual artist living in New Haven, Connecticut. She recently graduated form the Yale School of Art Painting MFA program and previously received her BFA in sculpture from The Kansas City Art Institute. Recently, Kiki has exhibited at James Fuentes Gallery, New York, NY; Wábi Arts, New Haven, CT; Kemper Museum of Art, Kansas City, MO; MDW Fair at Mana Contemporary, Chicago, IL; Galeria Venenoise, Mexico City, MX; and The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City, MO. Kiki was also a recipient of a two-term residency at Charlotte Street’s Studio Residency program from 2018-2020. In addition, Kiki’s work is included in public collections, including that of The Kansas City Museum and The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.
